Business and Human Resource Management ranks best in the UK in NSS 2024
The Business and Human Resource Management course at Keele has been ranked the best in the UK for student positivity, according to the latest National Student Survey (NSS).
The annual National Student Survey is one of its largest exercises of its kind in the world, with almost 346,000 final year students in the UK taking time to answer questions on their university experience. The 2024 edition of the survey posed 27 core questions on issues including academic experience, teaching and assessments, and well-being services.
The course ranked first in its category, with 94 per cent of students responding positively. It also achieved a 100 per cent positivity rating in 15 of the 27 questions.
Dr Scott Bambrick, Director of Keele Business School, said: "We are delighted that our Business and Human Resource Management teaching has been ranked first in the UK. The students have acknowledged that their experience has been excellent and our team should be very proud of this feedback.
"Our programme is approved by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), and our curriculum is designed to provide students with discipline knowledge and professional competency, enabling students to achieve thorough understanding of the complexity of managing people and business operations.
"Skills, employability and professional development opportunities are integral elements. The programme is located in a highly supportive Business School environment, which also focuses substantially on integrating learning and teaching activities with opportunities to apply learned knowledge to real life situations."
Seven other subjects at Keele secured top 10 rankings in the survey, including geography, mental health nursing, media studies, mathematics, midwifery, chemistry and human biology.
