The Fourth Methods X Conference is being held at Keele University on Friday 15 May 2020. It represents an opportunity for postgraduate researchers from across the region to come together to showcase and discuss the methods and methodologies that underpin their research and exchange ideas, experiences and insights. All postgraduate researchers in the North West are welcome to attend the conference.

Keynote talks

We are pleased to announce that the morning programme will include keynote talks by postdoctoral researchers recently awarded their PhDs in the North West. The detailed morning programme will be available mid-April 2020.

Methods exchanges

The afternoon programme will involve sessions around the five North West Methods Exchanges:

• Archives, collections and documents of life methods (led by Dr Michael Lambert: m.lambert3@lancaster.ac.uk)
• Ethnography (led by Dr Eva Luksaite: e.luksaite@keele.ac.uk)
• New forms of Data/digital methods (led by Dr Elena Musi: Elena.Musi@liverpool.ac.uk)
• Quantitative Methods (led by Dr Fran Darlington-Pollock: F.Darlington@liverpool.ac.uk)
• Interview-based qualitative research (led by Dr Ben Saunders: b.saunders@keele.ac.uk)

How to get to Keele – transport organised:

Please note that transport to and from Keele University will be organised with pick-ups from Lancaster University, the University of Manchester and the University of Liverpool.
