Biography
Graduated with a BA in History in 1997, a PGD in Employment and Social Security Law in 2008 from the University of Cape Town and a MM in Public and Development Management from the University of Witwatersrand (South Africa) in 2004. He has worked in the mining industry, local and national government in South Africa.
Research and scholarship
Research project
The study is about participatory governance in South African local government. It will assess how local government officials and the country’s citizens are experiencing participation in the context of a country that promoted racial segregation and was undemocratic until 1994.
