Ian Bayliss

Biography

Ian leads on technical management, services, and support in Music Production and Sound Design.

In 2019, Ian was awarded the Keele Excellence Award for supporting student learning. Feedback from students and colleagues emphasised his positive impact on student learning. Colleagues commended his ability to progress and shape their thinking around teaching, while providing consistently outstanding support for students.

More recently, as the department technical lead, Ian has overseen major improvements to our Music buildings and facilities, including the creation of the new Courtyard Studio and the delivery of our MacBook Lease Scheme.
