Scott Mccracken

Biography

Scott McCracken's research interests include literature and culture 1880-1930, modernism, gender, critical theory and popular fiction.  He welcomes PhD applications in any of these areas.  Before taking up a Chair in English at Keele in 2005, Scott McCracken taught at the University of Salford and then Sheffield Hallam University.

He was Fulbright Scholar at Stanford University 1995-1996, and Visiting Professor at the University of British Columbia in 2005.

He is PI for the Richardson Editions Project, which is funded by an AHRC major standard grant and is co-organiser with Daniela Caselli and Andrew Thacker of the Northern Modernism Seminar.
