JSLUG 2017

On 12 June, approximately 60 undergraduate students joined together to celebrate the second JSLUG event in its new home of Keele Hall.

This year also marked the beginning of our relationship with Keele’s Institute of Liberal Arts and Sciences (ILAS). ILAS helped JSLUG to grow and improve and it’s position as hub that crosses all three of Keele’s faculties seemed entirely fitting.

The standard of work, again, blew the audience away. Keele’s undergraduate community came out in force and proved their class.  Our award-winning presentations in 2017 were:

  • Caroline Millet-Spicer, Medicine – The Nocebo Effect
  • Zulekha Ahmed, Biomedical Science - Memory: How it works, common misconceptions and its reliability in recalling past experiences
