Divya Jindal-Snape

Professor Divya Jindal-Snape is Chair of Education, Inclusion and Life Transitions in the School of Education and Social Work, University of Dundee. She is Director of the Transformative Change: Educational and Life Transitions (TCELT) Research Centre. She has research expertise in educational and life transitions, inclusion, health information comics, creativity and voice. One strand of her transitions research focusses on the transitions of international students to higher education in the UK, including facilitating development of positive social and learning relationships in international classrooms. She co-edited a book on international students’ transitions with contributions from international experts: Jindal-Snape, D., & Rienties, B. (Eds.) (2016). Multi-dimensional transitions of international students to Higher Education. Abingdon: Routledge. She has firsthand experience of universities in India, Japan and the U.K.
