Biography

Dr. Helen Millward has a PhD in Management, an MA in Management, and a BA in Business Management and History, all of which were obtained from Keele University. In 2022 she gained a further MA, in Higher Education Practice, also from Keele University.

As a lecturer in Marketing at Keele Business School, Helen’s teaching practice covers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate level modules, predominantly within the Marketing discipline. She also supervises independent undergraduate student projects and postgraduate student dissertations.

Helen is a Certified Management & Business Educator (CMBE) and an AdvanceHE Fellow. She is Keele Business School’s lead for the Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) and a member of Future Earth’s Knowledge Action Network’s Social Change Beyond Consumerism working group.

Research and scholarship

  • Sustainable production and consumption
  • Higher Education development practices

Teaching

Dr. Millward currently teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Her teaching practice includes areas such as:
