Biography
I joined Keele Business School as a Teaching Fellow in Finance in September 2019. Prior to this, I worked as a Teaching Associate and Research Assistant in Finance at the University of Birmingham where I obtained a PhD in Accounting and Finance.
Research and scholarship
My current research areas are empirical issues in corporate finance and corporate governance, with an emphasis on corporate cash holdings, government intervention, political connections, and board structure. My work has been presented at international conferences and doctoral colloquia, including those organised by the Financial Management Association (FMA), British Academy of Management (BAM) and Multinational Finance Society (MFS).
I am interested in supervising PhD students with interests that overlap with my research areas.
