Jason Balzarano
Originally from Australia, Jason has worked as a music practitioner and curriculum specialist within a range of primary school settings, and more recently as a lecturer in primary initial teacher education. As a Keele alumnus he completed an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) funded Master of Research in Music in 2014, and was awarded his PhD researching the music of 1970s fusion in 2019. Jason is passionate about inclusion, adaptive practice, and collaboration to facilitate knowledge exchange, and how digital learning technologies can be used to inform and enhance innovative pedagogical practice.
