Keele University’s flagship summer start-up programme, supported by our OFS Student Knowledge Exchange Project and Santander, received a record-breaking number of applications this year.

The Keele Institute for Innovation and Teaching Excellence (KIITE) is delighted to announce that 8 members of staff at Keele University have recently been awarded Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) through the University’s HEA Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Route.

In this article, Terry Dray, Sue Welland, and Hannes Read look at how Keele University and the University of Birmingham are re-imagining experiential learning, industry placements, and student knowledge exchange. Terry Dray is the Director for Employability and Employer Engagement at Keele University, and leads the Student Knowledge Exchange project.
