Biography
Lily started her career as a midwife and has continued to practice since 2018. Within midwifery, Lily has specialised in diabetes, emergency care and education, as well as worked as a lecturer at London Southbank University from 2021-2022. In 2021 she was awarded her first master’s degree from UCL in Women’s Health and has since completed the LLM in Law and Society at Keele University in 2024, gaining a distinction for her second masters. Lily’s work is aimed at examining the legal and ethical framework surrounding consent in labour and the potential implications of an ethic of care framework.
