Biography
Mina is a dedicated legal professional and academic, currently pursuing a PhD at Keele University. With a strong foundation in law, Mina earned an LLM from Liverpool John Moores University and is also a qualified barrister with extensive experience in legal practice spanning several years.
As a PhD candidate, Mina is conducting pioneering research focused on evaluating the potential impacts of the Modern Slavery 2015 in combating human trafficking in Nigeria. The comparative study aims to provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of legislative frameworks in addressing one of the most pressing global human rights challenges.
Driven by a passion for justice and a commitment to advancing legal solutions, Mina hopes to contribute to the academic and legal discourse on human trafficking and modern slavery.
