Book lovers rejoice – we have the resource for you!
To celebrate this year’s Book Lovers Day (9th August), and to help you get your hands on the latest BookTok reads so you don’t miss out, let’s introduce you to Libby!
Libby, which can be accessed via the Libby website or as an app on your iOS or Android device, is a free app where you can enjoy ebooks, digital audiobooks and magazines from your library. You can also stream titles with Wi-Fi or mobile data or download them for offline use and read anytime anywhere!
There’s more than 10,000 titles available in our catalogue on 113 different subjects, including short stories, historical fiction, classic literature, and fantasy. You can also filter search results by format, audience and language too!
Book Lovers Day (9th August) is an unofficial global annual holiday which is observed to celebrate reading and literature, as well as encourage people to pick up a book to read!
You’ll find some of the more popular BookTok books on Libby, including the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas, We Were Liars by E. Lockhart, The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab and It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover!
For access, using the Libby app, follow the prompts to add a new library and search for ‘Keele University’. Sign in with your Keele University email address and password.
