Biography

Dr. Turner Duff is a Teaching Fellow in Neuroscience at the School of Life Sciences. She completed a BSc in Biochemistry and Neuroscience at Keele University, followed by an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of York. She obtained her PhD from The Open University in 2018, where her research focused on the effects of chronic amphetamine treatment on the midbrain superior colliculus. She has experience in in vivo electrophysiology, histological techniques, and behavioural neuroscience research, and has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications.

Prior to joining Keele University, Dr. Turner Duff worked as a senior medical writer, developing scientific content in neurology and oncology for various educational and professional formats. She has experience teaching and creating learning materials for a range of audiences and remains committed to supporting student development and understanding in neuroscience.
