Lesley Pugh

Biography

Lesley is newly appointed to the School of Medicine as a Clinical Skills and Practice Liaison Lecturer for the new MSci in Paramedic Science programme developed for 2021.  Lesley joins the team after working as a frontline Paramedic for the West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust for the past 18 years. Lesley obtained a BSc (Hons) Emergency Care Practitioner Degree in 2011 which prepared Lesley for working in an urgent care role and she continues to study post-graduate programmes for continuing professional development. Throughout her career she has provided practice education and support to Paramedic students during clinical placement and has a keen interest in student education and development.
