Sian Arrowsmith

Biography

Sian is newly appointed to the School of Medicine as a Clinical Skills and Practice Liaison Lecturer for the new MSci in Paramedic Science programme developed for 2021.  Sian joins the team after working as a Registered Paramedic and Education and Training Officer for the West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust for the past 17 years. Sian obtained a Professional Graduate Certificate in Education in 2019 followed by a BSc (Hons) in Developing Paramedic Practice in 2020 both of which moved to enhanced her role in healthcare education. She has worked in the education and training sphere for 10 years and has experience of teaching student paramedics as well as qualified healthcare professionals. She continues to develop her knowledge and skill base as both a healthcare professional and educator.
