Biography
Steven Buddle is a Lecturer in Anatomy and has been working at Keele University since 2016. Prior to this he graduated from the University of Sheffield : Biomedical Science (BSc), and the University of Edinburgh : Human Anatomy (MSc with distinction). In 2022 Steve also completed the Masters in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (MA) at Keele University.
Research and scholarship
Steven is on an education and scholarship contract. He is particularly enthusiastic about experimenting with new methods of presenting cadaveric specimens to assist with student learning. Previous projects include use of the freeze-thaw brain dissection technique, and the use of time-lapse and stop-motion video technology to display cadaveric dissections in a new format.
Teaching
Steven teaches anatomy, neuroanatomy, embryology and histology to medical students and all other healthcare and biology related disciplines at Keele University. He is also a problem-based learning tutor and co-lead for Unit 14 MBChB : Sensorimotor Systems.
