The MIDAS programme

Find out about a new research project aiming to improve the treatment of people with Musculoskeletal conditions in North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

This study is part of the MIDAS programme of research which is designed to get better evidence about health and care in local populations. Our focus is on trying to understand and reduce differences in musculoskeletal health between different groups of people.

Understanding why some areas of North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent have better and poorer health is important to help to reduce differences and improve health for all. Please see our research findings here.
