Jodie Preston

Biography

Jodie qualified as a midwife in 2002 and worked within a busy maternity hospital as a rotational midwife, providing care across a range of low and high risk ward and intrapartum settings.

Jodie joined the school in 2015 as a Teaching Fellow and in 2018 became a Lecturer. Jodie completed her MSc in Higher Education and also achieved her Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education and NMC teaching status. In 2020 Jodie was accredited with Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy and in 2023 she was promoted to Senior Lecturer.
