Keele highly ranked in Sunday Times League Tables

Keele University has been ranked second overall for Student Satisfaction and third for Teaching Quality in the Times and Sunday Times University League Tables for 2016.
Affordable living and accommodation also saw Keele in 3rd position, which combined with highly rated developments on campus, such as the library (ranked first in the Times Higher Student Satisfaction Poll), sees one of the largest campuses in the UK offering value for money.
Keele’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Trevor McMillan, said: “As students continue to search for value for money from their degree choices and student experience, to rank so highly for student satisfaction, teaching quality and affordable living really underlines our plans to continue to provide research-led teaching, a supportive community and a developing campus for our students.”
In the subject-specific rankings Keele was top 10 in 5 subjects; Medicine, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Nursing and American Studies and top 40 in a further 16 subject areas.
Earlier this year the University was crowned 1st for Student Satisfaction for the second consecutive year in the National Student Survey 2015.
Feedback from Keele's undergraduate final year students found them to be most happy with well-organised and intellectually stimulating courses, and lecturers being available when needed, good at explaining things and enthusiastic about what they are teaching. Students also gave excellent ratings to the availability and quality of library, learning and IT resources.
