Stargazing Live 2015
Keele University Observatory again participates in BBC2's Stargazing Live campaign.
On Wednesday 18, Thursday 19 and Friday 20 March the observatory opens its doors to the public every day 12-1pm at lunchtime and 8-11pm in the evening, to view celestial objects through its large telescopes and for tours and talks. The Stardome planetarium is open at the Sustainability Hub on Wednesday evening and Friday evening.
On Friday morning, 8-11am, we will be watching the solar eclipse, which reaches its maximum (90%) around 9:30am. All events are free of charge, and parking is free in the evenings. See http://www.astro.keele.ac.uk/Observatory/ for more details.
