Tenth Varsity victory for Keele!

Keele University students are celebrating after their tenth win at Varsity, the multi-sport competition between Keele and Staffordshire Universities.
Hosted this year at Keele, teams competed across 17 sports: American Football, Men's Badminton, Men's Basketball, Men's and Women's Football, Men's Futsal, Men's and Women's Hockey, Men's and Women's Lacrosse, Men's and Women's Rugby Union, Men's Volleyball, Mixed Ultimate Frisbee (Outdoor) and Men's Table Tennis.
After winning in 13 of the 17 sports, played over three days of matches, Keele were crowned Varsity champions for 2018 - for the tenth time overall and the ninth consecutive year.
Meghan Harrison, Keele University Athletic Union Officer, commented:
“Varsity is a huge event in the sporting calendar at Keele, and I’m so proud of all our athletes who went out there and gave their all for Team:Keele. To get the tenth win in my final year as Athletic Union Officer is just amazing.”
