SIGNeT
The purpose of SIGNeT (Special Interest Group for Neurological Therapists) is to provide opportunities for neurological therapists to share and update knowledge, improve clinical skills, exchange ideas and discuss relevant research in exploring the evidence base of practice and address issues of clinical governance within the field of neurological rehabilitation.
Membership
This group is accessible to all qualified therapists with a particular input or interest in neurological rehabilitation, working in North Staffordshire, Mid Staffordshire and South Staffordshire areas. It is a forum specifically for senior and specialist therapists, but junior, student and assistant therapists are welcome to accompany their senior clinician to relevant meetings. Honorary membership is available to non-therapists who have a special interest in neurological rehabilitation.
Communication
The organising committee may consist of representatives from physiotherapy and occupational therapy throughout the North, Mid and South Staffordshire and Keele University. This committee meets on a regular basis. Communication regarding the group can be made through any of these representatives.
