Applied prognosis research
Prognosis research is an integral part across all applied health research in the School of Medicine, including research in musculoskeletal health, mental health, and cardiovascular health. In addition, with the strong methodological expertise available in evidence synthesis, there is an increasing number of systematic reviews and meta-analyses developed together with clinical research teams that address questions related to prognosis.
Electronic health record research
An important part of our prognosis research concerns the use of electronic health care databases to investigate outcomes of disease, identify prognostic factors, develop and validate prognostic models, or explore the impact of using prognostic models on healthcare decision making and patient outcomes.
