Education and training
The educational activities in public health range from a Bachelor of Science honours degree to the supervision of PhDs. Each course aims to provide students with skills and knowledge of the principles of public health to help develop a career in public health and the health sector. A key focus is to develop a population perspective to health that ensures students are well placed to improve health in communities locally, nationally and globally. Our courses reflect the multidisciplinary nature of public health and has strong links with public health, primary and secondary care practitioners and local, national and international bodies. Teaching and research supervision is delivered by national and international experts.
