Research infrastructure
Researchers in the School work closely with Keele Clinical Trials Unit. Undergraduate and Postgraduate students submit their research to the School-Student Project Ethics Committee (S-SPEC).
- Keele CTU specialises in the development and delivery of high-quality multicentre clinical trials, testing treatments and health services, as well as other high-quality clinical studies, including large epidemiological studies, in primary and secondary care settings with the aim of improving patient care.
- The scope of the School-Student Project Ethics Committee (S-SPEC) is to consider and oversee good practice in all matters within the School of Medicine relating to ethical issues associated with students’ research projects undertaken as part of a taught undergraduate or postgraduate course.
