Dr Stuart Jenkins and Professor Divya Chari contributed a chapter entitled “A Stoichiometrically Defined Neural Coculture Model to Screen Nanoparticles for Neurological Applications” to the book 'Use of Nanoparticles in Neuroscience' published by Springer and Humana Press. The book covers techniques to synthesize and functionalize nanoparticles, monitor their delivery and uptake, and identify and evaluate their lethal and non-lethal effects on the metabolic activity of the nervous system. The book is available from Amazon and Springer and is listed as a comprehensive, cutting-edge and valuable resource for graduate students and specialised researchers that want to learn techniques needed to quantify experiments that use nanoparticles in the nervous system.
