2nd prize poster award for NTEK intercalating medical student Louise Finch

NTEK student member Louise Finch, intercalating medical student, won 2nd prize for her poster presentation at the Society of British Neurosurgeons (SBNS) and Neurology and Neurosurgery Interest Group (NANSIG) Careers Day Conference held at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
The work was conducted in collaboration with the Neurosurgery department at UHNM investigating the utility of intraoperative brain smears, a simple yet effective intervention to improve diagnostic tumour biopsy yield. The work attracted significant interest at the conference.
