Warm congratulations also go to NTEK PhD student Jessica Wiseman who won second prize for her presentation and scientific poster at the Cross Cadre Conference for the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and Medical Research Council (MRC) Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Regenerative Medicine 2019, held at Loughborough University on 3rd April 2019. Jessica presented a poster entitled “A Neurosurgical Grade Biomaterial as a Regenerative Matrix for an Implantation Therapy after Traumatic CNS Injury”. The keynote speakers and judges for the symposium were from the EPSRC, Innovate UK, Catapult and GSK.
Jessica Wiseman (pictured with her poster below) also won 2nd prize at the tenth CDT Joint Conference in Regenerative Medicine, held at the University of Manchester on Friday 12th July 2019.
