Dr Adams and Aina Mogas Barcons were part of a team of scientists from Keele University who organised the international Pint of Science festival in Stoke-on-Trent for the first time. Nine events across three pubs and three evenings were delivered with academics from Keele and Staffordshire Universities demonstrating their research to the public.
Over 300 tickets were sold, with highly positive feedback received from the participants. The event was supported by funding from Keele and Staffordshire Universities and also from the KPA and SCR societies within Keele.
