Professor Divya Chari has led a successful funding bid with consultant rheumatologist Dr Sam Hider for an INSPIRE award from the Academy of Medical Sciences and Wellcome Trust, to fund medical student research till 2022. The award over two years will involve collaboration with BioNow, Birmingham and Warwick Universities, and includes a number of industry linked activities.
