Fracking Paper - Research Highlight in Nature
A paper by Peter Styles, Professor of Applied and Environmental Geophysics, Applied & Environmental Geophysics Research Group School of Physical and Geographical Sciences, (jointly with Cuadrilla and Polish researchers) on the induced earthquakes caused by fracking near Blackpool has been quoted as a Research Highlight in the prestigious journal Nature this week
The paper, 'Felt seismicity associated with shale gas hydraulic fracturing: the first documented example in Europe', was recently publicised by Geophysical Research Letters
