Sarah Iqbal

The experience of working in a clinic and sexual health foundation alongside staff caring for victims of HIV and AIDS, gave Sarah first-hand insight into this challenging area of healthcare and health education in Latin America.

Sarah says, “It was a privilege to have been afforded the opportunity to volunteer in Latin America, an experience that taught me a great deal in preparation for a career in healthcare and global medicine. I learnt that despite significant differences between continents, health is a uniting issue, as good healthcare is a common goal for us all and something that we all deserve”.
