Olivia Armarty
Olivia is Executive Director of Elim and was the first black woman to be appointed to a national executive role in this major Pentecostal organisation of 550 churches. Olivia has extensive senior leadership experience in the NHS, was Director of Social Responsibility for the Anglican Church and has been Director of Third and voluntary sectors, is also widely recognised as the founder of Martha’s Oasis, a social enterprise featured on Channel Four’s ‘The Secret Millionaire’ in 2008.
Chris Blackwell
Chris is the Founder and CEO of Purpose Led Performance and is an experienced CEO and MD and has led organisations that have achieved incredible growth. He has worked in the education, employability, disability, and criminal justice/rehabilitation sectors. Chris has held senior leadership roles in four Joint ventures involving the private sector (Deloitte, Capita, and MAXIMUS), the voluntary sector (CGL and St. Giles Trust) and the public sector (Remploy and Staffordshire County Council). Chris is also an experienced Non-Exec Director and has been the Chair of a charitable foundation.
Tammy Banks
Tammy's personal history, academic achievements & work experience have driven her to champion the importance of effective, achievable solutions to prevent abuse and poverty. Tammy leads with passion and commitment. She champions for change and is dedicated to helping people have the opportunity to live their best life. Tammy developed ‘Training for Influence,’ a method of training that is having a huge impact on the lives of people experiencing multiple disadvantages, by delivering values based, specialist training to front-line professionals in public and charity sector. In addition to being a regular public speaker Tammy is a Lay Member on the Parliamentary Committee for Standard and Director of Taye Training.
Inaugural lunchtime lecture
Watch our first lunchtime lecture with Kevin Davis who is CEO of the Vine Trust and member of the Black Country LEP and Chair of the ‘Ladder’ (a national apprenticeship campaign), Kevin is a serial-social entrepreneur. He manages a complex organisation with multiple social-inclusion business interests. He was sponsored on his MBA because of his participation in the 'Goldman Sachs 10,000 small business' initiative and has worked at senior political levels as well as being a regular at Buckingham palace.
