Biography

In May 2019 I completed my PhD, at University of Manchester. It investigated the strategic responses of incumbents to proposals for carbon pricing in the last thirty years of Australian political history.

As of January 2020 I am working at Keele University, and affiliated to the Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity. My work involves teaching on a history of protest course, researching activist biographies (interviewing 'em) and other tasks.

I have had articles published in academic journals: Energy Research & Social Science, Technology in Society and (as a co-author) in Global Discourse. A book chapter has recently appeared in a Palgrave Macmillan.

I used to be a physiotherapist (amputee rehabilitation).
