The Catrin Pickles Physiotherapy Scholarship is supported by an endowment from the Pickles family in memory of Catrin Pickles, a Keele University physiotherapy student. The award supports, in part, the travel and subsistence costs of physiotherapy students to enable them to undertake an elective charity based placement. These placements are designed to support the work of Therapies Unite, a Mexico-based rehabilitation charity, or, if this is not possible, to undertake an elective charity based placement in South America.
This prize will be listed on the HEAR, and will be announced at graduation.

This prize was established in 2003 by alumni from the Oswestry School of Physiotherapy. The Oswestry School was based at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt until 1994 when the School moved to Keele.
The prize is awarded annually to the undergraduate Physiotherapy student who receives the highest mark for their final year research project.
