Welcome to Keele Chapel
The Chapel is right in the middle of campus. You might love its retro sixties architecture, or perhaps you’ll think it looks like a castle. Either way, you can’t miss it!
At the Chapel you’ll find an inclusive and diverse Christian community, varied regular worship, a full-time Chaplaincy team who serve staff and students of all faiths and none, and a variety of student Christian groups. If you want to talk to one of the Chaplains then just pop in and say hi during the day, or if you would rather make an appointment then drop us an email.
The Chapel is open every day in term time, offering free tea and coffee, a place to meet friends, space for prayer or quiet reflection, and individual support and advice if requested.
Main Chapel
Main Chapel is used for Sunday services, Christian groups and societies, concerts and music lessons, graduations and public events.
East Chapel
East Chapel is primarily set aside for private prayer, and includes a dedicated Roman Catholic apse, a prayer board, and space to light candles. Bibles and prayer cards are available.
The Space
The Space is within the East Chapel and is a safe and inclusive space for people of any, or no, faith. It’s deliberately kept free of any religious symbols and is available for individuals for quiet prayer, reflection or meditation.
The Christian chaplains each have an office in the Chapel and you are welcome to pop in and say hi during the day, or if you would rather make an appointment then drop us an email. The Chaplaincy team also includes our Muslim Chaplain, Rukia. You can read all their profiles here.
