Interested in getting involved with Residence Life?
Applications to become a Resident Adviser for the 2026/27 academic year will open on Tuesday 6th January and close on Sunday 18th January. You can register your interest in the role below and we will contact you with further information about the application process.
Resident Advisers (RAs) are a team of full-time Keele Students who live in Keele Halls of Residence to help provide information, guidance and welfare support to students who call Keele campus their home. The role is voluntary, however, students who are successful in the role:
- receive extensive support and training
- make a difference to student experience
- make friends for life
- get subsidised on-campus accommodation for the academic year
Before applying, it's important that you attend an information session. Your application will not be considered unless you have attended one of these sessions. These will take place on Teams as follows:
Tuesday 6th January, 2pm- Join here
Wednesday 7th January, 4pm - Join here
Thursday 8th January, 5:15pm - Join here
Friday 9th January, 10am - Join here
Please note that the position is available on a 38 week basis for students studying full time between September 2026 and June 2027. If you have any questions about the role, speak to a current RA or contact a Residence Life Manager at student.services@keele.ac.uk.
