Biography
Patricia is module leader for the French electives pathway at Keele. Prior to her appointment at Keele, she taught French language and culture at the Language Centre for King’s College London and for Regent’s Institute of Language and Culture (London) for 9 years. She has taught French from complete beginners' to post A level on graduate and postgraduate programs and is an experienced module leader. She has also been involved in developing online resources to enhance learning. Patricia has taught at the Alliance Française in Cambridge and Milton Keynes; for Cranfield University; and has worked as a freelance language trainer for GCSE, A level and business clients.
Patricia was born in Avignon and her first degree is from the university there - in French Linguistics and Literature - and she has a Master’s Degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language from the University of Aix-en-Provence. She is interested in the use of information technology and peer work in language teaching, in developing writing skills in a foreign language, and in curriculum design.
