Astrophysics and Physics at Keele

This session will look at the structure of the degree programmes in Astrophysics and Physics, plus a tour of Physics facilities and activities related to experiments that students will do in the first and second year of their degree programme and a tour of the Astrophysics Observatory.

Morning session: 10:30 - 12:00

Optional drop-in session: 10:00 - 15:00
Meet staff and current students to discuss our courses and ask any questions, with refreshments available.

Afternoon session: 13:00 - 14:30

Guests are invited to attend the academic session alongside offer holders.

Studying Chemistry and Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry at Keele

Hands-on laboratory activities in our fantastic new synthetic laboratory including chromatography, infra-red and UV-visible spectroscopy. There will also be a tour of the facilities and the opportunity to talk to our current students about what it is like to study chemistry at Keele. All prospective students have a one-to-one discussion with a member of chemistry staff to discuss the course and your specific interests.

Afternoon session: 13:00 - 14:30

Optional drop-in session: 14:30 - 15:00
Drop-in session and tour of CSL laboratories.

This session is for offer holders only. Accompanying guests will have the opportunity to take a tour of the facilities and attend a talk about our approach to teaching and our learning and pastoral support systems.

Studying Forensic Science at Keele

This session will give you the opportunity to explore our crime scene house and analytical facilities; learning how to enhance/analyse certain forensic evidence. There will be short talks from academic staff and students to give you a further understanding of what being a Forensic Science student at Keele involves.

Morning session: 10:30 - 12:00

Optional drop-in session: 12:00 - 13:00
For offer holders who cannot attend the academic sessions there is a lunchtime drop in session. Staff will be available to talk to offer holders and their accompanying guests and give tours of the facilities

Afternoon session: 13:00 - 14:30

Guests are invited to accompany offer holders but may not be able to participate in all of the activities.
