GREAT Scholarships
Are you considering a postgraduate degree in the UK? A GREAT scholarship could be for you!
GREAT Scholarships are jointly funded by Keele University with the UK Government’s GREAT Britain campaign and the British Council.
The award
This scholarship scheme is part of the GREAT Scholarships campaign, which has been launched by the British Council together with UK universities to support more students to access world-class UK higher education opportunities.
Business and Computing
We are offering £10,000 towards tuition fees for any one-year master’s programme In Business and Computing. This will be available to students from India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh who will enrol at Keele University in September 2025. One scholarship per country is available.
Law and Justice
We are offering £10,000 towards tuition fees for any one-year master’s programme in Law. This will be available to students from Nigeria and Ghana who will enrol at Keele University in September 2025. One scholarship per country is available.
Exceptions
- This scholarship is not available for students studying fully online courses delivered by Keele.

This award will require an application.
In order to apply for a GREAT Scholarship, applicants should:
- Apply online for an eligible course via the relevant postgraduate taught course page.
- Apply online on the applicant portal by pressing the apply button.

Qualifying recipients of the scholarship will receive the award in the form of a tuition fee discount. No cash alternative is available, and the award cannot be used in place of any required deposit.
This scholarship cannot be combined with any other awards.
Selection criteria
The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. No application form or essay is necessary for this scholarship.
September 2025 entry application deadline

- Successful award holders are due to be informed by 30 June 2025
