Your gifts make such a difference

Promoting social mobility and widening participation is a key priority at Keele University. This would not be possible without the generosity of our alumni, friends and funding partners, alongside significant University investment. This philanthropic support enables Keele to develop and expand its programmes to meet the changing demands of the student community in the 21st century and ensures that every student can fulfil their potential and experience an excellent education.

If you are considering making a financial gift to support Keele University, including through our 2024 Telethon, thank you.

Supporting these funds enables us to remove barriers to higher education for a student facing complexities related to their refugee status. Your gift will contribute towards living expenses, alongside the University waiving their fees, for the duration of their time at Keele. Each scholarship provides:

  • A full tuition fee waiver for up to four years
  • A cash award of £1200 each year towards living costs
  • An additional award of £250 towards course costs each year of study to be loaded onto the student’s Keele Card, courtesy of the Felix Andrew Student Opportunity Fund
  • Personal support will also be available for each successful student to enable them to identify and overcome barriers to achievement on their degree programme.

Grants vary in amount and can be for a range of reasons, each application is treated on a case-by-case basis to ensure the student is directed to any additional support they may need.
