Our research themes
The problems at the heart of Britain’s rural crises are complex and multilayered; they can only be solved with approaches that are interdisciplinary by design. All doctoral scholars working within SURF will work across two of our four themes, designed as fulcrums connecting the debates of our diverse projects to facilitate conversation and exchange.
