‘As we near the end of the first phase of the Transforming the Trent Valley Landscape Partnership Scheme (TTTV), join Nicola Lynes to hear what has been achieved throughout this scheme for the benefit of the biodiversity, cultural heritage and people along the River Trent in East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire since 2019. We’ll also take a look forward to the future of the Transforming the Trent Valley Partnership, and hear what the partnership has planned for other stretches of the River Trent and local communities in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. Following this talk, there will be a discussion about the value of volunteering and work placements on these types of partnership projects. Nicola will share some examples of successful volunteering placements throughout TTTV, and explore what opportunities may be available on the upcoming Trent Valley projects.’
Nicola Lynes is the Climate Action Manager for Support Staffordshire, and worked as the Community Engagement Officer for the initial TTTV scheme.
