The minister charged with looking after scientific innovation in Sir Keir Starmer’s new Government has praised Keele University for its forward-thinking approach to sustainability and green technology.

Researchers have called for an international consensus to address not just job “quantity”, but job “quality” by providing “decent work” opportunities to create a thriving labour market in the UK and around the world.

The garden is being built as part of Keele’s 75th anniversary celebrations, and will serve as a lasting legacy of the anniversary year for visitors to the campus, and the entire university community, to enjoy.
