Dr Yesmeen is a Research Associate at the Institute for Sustainable Futures. Her research interest focuses on employing integrated frameworks and approaches to understand the characteristics of individual cities to identify complex issues regarding resource management that could assist policy and decision-makers in creating robust urban sustainability strategies based on scientific evidence and tailoring sustainable interventions to address sustainability challenges and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Dr Yesmeen has more than 20 years of international experience in different fields of Engineering, Academic Research and Architecture, as well as a Founder and General Manager of a Private Business.
