Hello,
I'm Elaine Ferneley, the Director of Keele Business School. On behalf of the University of Keele, I extend a warm welcome to you at the Business School. I hope you enjoy this short film.
I am Professor Samir Dani, Deputy Director of Keele Business School and Professor of Operations Management. The Smart Innovation Hub, home to Keele Business School, was opened in 2019.
This short film will provide an overview of the facilities available in Keele Business School and the businesses we collaborate with in this building.
Keele business school is located in the Denise Coates foundation building which is also known as innovation centre 6.
In a prominent position at the entrance to the main university campus.
The atrium area provides space for studying, networking and socialising.
Our modern lecture theatre provides a pleasant environment in which to learn.
The think lab provides a creative space for students, staff and businesses to work collaboratively on a variety of projects.
Our Bloomberg suite gives students access to economic, financial and business real-time data, world news, analyses and reports from the world's biggest financial organisations.
The executive boardrooms provide spaces of various sizes for the resident businesses and students alike to come together.
The building is home to a variety of businesses who work together with the students and staff in the business school.
Resident businesses include Hixon group - an it service provider specialising in cloud services.
Another resident business is Moneyshake, a car leasing cost comparison website.
We offer incubation space for students who wish to start their own business. Students can do this as part of their programme of study.
Our academic staff are multicultural and multinational, bringing an international aspect to the school's teaching, research and business activities.
We provide our postgraduate research students with dedicated desk space and equipment during their studies.
We have several spaces within the school for staff and students to come together.
I hope you enjoyed your virtual tour of the building and the Business School. I look forward to welcoming you to the School in person sometime soon.
