Clearing 2020 is now open at Keele University
Students looking to attend university this year can now apply to Keele University through Clearing.
Keele is now welcoming calls from students looking to start their studies this September. The University has set up a remote Clearing call centre which is open to students who have already received their A-level results or don’t currently hold any offers at university.
Alternatively, prospective students who would like to arrange a call from the University on results day to discuss their options can register for a callback.
Those interested in joining Keele can also speak directly with current students about their experiences of studying at Keele through an online chat. Furthermore, on A-level results day students will also be able to find out information about the University via a Clearing chatbot which will answer FAQs, provide information about accommodation, open days, grade requirements and courses to quickly provide applicants with the answers they need.
Registrations are also open to attend Keele’s Virtual Open Day on 15th August which will include an interactive 360° tour of Keele’s 600-acre campus, subject-specific webinars delivered by academics, a chance to ask questions of current students, academic staff and the admissions team, and an opportunity to explore accommodation options.
Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost, Professor Mark Ormerod said: “This year has been a particularly challenging one for young people, and we have a dedicated team who are ready to support and advise students about their study options. We are strongly committed to safely delivering courses and offering a high quality education and have devised a five-stage reopening plan to help define what studying at Keele will be like throughout the 2020/21 academic year.
“We plan to start the coming academic year with a hybrid delivery model, offering seminars and small group teaching, laboratory sessions and placement activities in their usual settings, complemented by high quality online teaching.”
Jo Ladwa, Head of Admissions, said: “I am proud of all of the work that has gone into ensuring that we can help young people explore the opportunities available to them at Keele. We have places on a wide range of courses, including foundation year options, and look forward to helping students identify the best path for them and their future.”
