Healthy Little Lifestyles

image of cook in Keele Hall We all know that the promotion of health and well-being in the early years of a child’s life lays the foundation of their long-term development.  It is through good practice in areas such as nutrition, learning about the importance of physical exercise, personal hygiene, enjoying fresh air and drinking water regularly, that Keele University Day Nursery fosters the early development of healthy habits in all our children.

It’s all in the eating!

New and exciting menus are carefully planned and prepared for our children by Keele’s catering team.

Delivered fresh to the Nursery each day from the Keele kitchens, our meals aim to develop children’s taste buds offering a balanced diet and a range of food which is low in salt, to suit a wide range of tastes, cultures and dietary requirements.

But our chefs can often be sneaky by hiding fresh vegetables in tasty dishes such as cottage pie and lasagne and serving different fruits disguised as snacks …that all important energy boost for the next activity.
